For your convenience, West Bloomfield Internal Medicine offers a number of diagnostic tests and services. We offer on-site tests and health assessments as part of your office visit.
Our services include:
EKG
ELECTROCARDIOGRAM (EKG)
EKG is a painless test that helps to assess the electrical rhythm of the heart. The test usually takes a few minutes and requires adhesive leads to be placed on various parts of the body. Your physician will interpret your EKG.
X-RAY
We provide in-house X-ray in appropriate situations for our patients for a variety of conditions. These X-rays are first read by one of our physicians and then sent to a radiologist for an official read.
LAB DRAWING SERVICES AND LAB TESTS
We have a phlebotomist in our office for blood draws. We perform some tests in our office for immediate results, including urinalysis, rapid strep tests, lipid panels, hemoglobin A1C, blood sugar, and pregnancy tests. Testing that can be done in our office will be determined by your insurance.
STRESS TESTS
A cardiac stress test is an electrocardiogram that evaluates how the heart works during exercise. A stress test may also be referred to as an exercise test or treadmill test.
